Is ReadyRef free?
Yes. ReadyRef is free to download, the live scoreboard is free to use, and fans can watch any game free in a browser with no account. Paid tiers — Ref Pro and League — add saved teams, player stats, push notifications, and tournament tools.
How do fans watch a game without the app?
Every game gets a 6-character watch code and a link. Open it in any browser at readyref.app/game/ followed by the code — the live scoreboard, clock, and play-by-play appear instantly. No app and no account required.
Is there an iPhone (iOS) version?
ReadyRef is in closed beta on Android right now, with a public launch coming soon. An iOS version is planned — add your email above and we'll let you know the moment it's available.
What sport is ReadyRef built for?
Flag football specifically. It includes girl-play counters, rush limits, configurable downs, timeout and halftime timers, and flag-specific stat attribution — not a generic scoreboard with a new coat of paint.
How many referees can run the same game?
One on the Free tier, two on Ref Pro, and up to five on League. Additional refs join the same live game with a PIN, and every change syncs across devices in real time.
How much does it cost?
The Free tier is $0. Ref Pro is $3.99/month or $30.99/year. League is $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Subscriptions are purchased and managed in the app through Google Play; prices are in USD and local pricing may vary.
Can I run a whole season and a tournament?
Yes, with the League tier. The Season Wizard builds schedules across fields and time slots, assigns referees, flags conflicts, and the tournament generator creates Single Elimination and Round Robin brackets that update from live results.
Can fans do more than watch the score?
Yes. Anyone watching with a game code can send live reactions, pick a side on the crowd meter, and predict the next play to earn Game Score and climb that game's fan leaderboard. Over time fans build a lifetime Fan Score, rank, and Fan Credits to spend in the Fan Shop on name colors and badges — all free, no account required.
Does my league get its own website?
Yes, on any paid plan. Publish a public site at readyref.app/leagues/ followed by your chosen address, showing your schedule, live standings, and teams. Add your town, an intro, news, and social links and it doubles as a local-search page. No player names are shared.
