Create your league in ReadyRef.

The League Wizard asks one question a page: your league’s name, how long a game runs, breaks and timeouts, and your teams. Here’s the whole thing in under a minute.

Running a flag football league? Here’s how to set it up in ReadyRef.

Open the League tab and tap Create a league. Type your league’s name, then tap Create my league. That’s your league code. Coaches, refs and fans all join with this one code.

Next, how long is a game: how many segments, and how long each one runs. Then breaks and timeouts. The total game time updates as you go. Co-ed league? Turn on the optional Girl Play Counter. Limiting rushes? There’s a Rush Counter too.

Add your teams. Just the names for now. Colours and rosters come later. Check your summary, then tap Set up my first season.

Next up: building your season and your schedule.

Good to know

  • Creating a league is free. Every plan can create one, including the free plan.
  • Your league exists from page one. It’s created the moment you tap Create my league, so if you stop part-way, nothing is lost. Tap Save for later and pick up where you left off.
  • Nothing here is permanent. You can rename your league later, and change game length, breaks and counters any time in Manage League → Competition, under Default Game Settings.
  • One code for everyone. Coaches, refs and fans all join with your six-character league code. It’s on your league screen whenever you need it.
  • Names are all you need for teams. Colours, crests and rosters come later, once your season is set up.

Next: build your season

The Season Wizard picks up where this one ends: your teams, the format, your fields and dates, and a finished schedule you check before anything is created.
