Data Deletion Request
You can ask us to delete your ReadyRef account and associated data at any time. Here's exactly how.
1. How to Request Deletion
Email support@readyref.app from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line "Delete my data." Tell us your account display name so we can locate your records. If your request comes from a different address, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before we proceed.
We will confirm receipt and complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
2. What Gets Deleted
On a verified request, we delete personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your profile (display name, city/province, profile photo reference);
- Your account record and authentication link;
- Saved teams, rosters, and player names you own;
- Push-notification device tokens; and
- Fan profile data such as rank, fan score, fan credits, and cosmetic purchases.
3. What May Be Retained
Some information may be retained for a limited time where we have a legitimate or legal reason, including:
- Shared league records. If you organized or contributed to a league with other members, game results, schedules, and standings may remain part of that shared league's records so other members are not disrupted. We can disassociate your personal account from them.
- Legal, security, and billing records. Information we must keep to comply with law, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or maintain transaction records (subscriptions are processed by the app stores and RevenueCat).
- Backups. Residual copies may persist in routine backups for a limited period before being overwritten.
4. Deleting Individual Players or Content
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. Within the app you can edit or delete teams, rosters, and player entries you control. If you need help removing a specific player's information — for example, at a parent's request — email us and we will assist.
5. Disconnecting Google Sign-In
ReadyRef uses Google sign-in for authentication. Deleting your ReadyRef data does not delete your Google account. You can review or revoke ReadyRef's access in your Google Account under Security → Third-party apps & services.
6. Effect of Deletion
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. After deletion you will lose access to paid features and saved data. Remember to also cancel any active subscription through your app store — deleting your data does not automatically cancel billing. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
