1. About This Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how ReadyRef uses cookies, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies ("cookies") on the readyref.app website and within the app. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

2. What These Technologies Are

Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Mobile apps use comparable technologies such as local storage and software development kit (SDK) identifiers. They let a service remember you, keep you signed in, understand usage, and (on the free tier) show advertising.

3. Categories We Use

• Strictly necessary. Required for the Service to work — for example, keeping you signed in (Firebase Authentication tokens), maintaining your session, and remembering in-app preferences and settings. These cannot be switched off without breaking core functionality.
• Analytics and performance. Help us understand how the Service is used so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for Firebase, which associates events with your Firebase user ID and device. See Firebase privacy.
• Advertising. On the free tier, Google AdMob may use device identifiers to serve and measure ads. Paid plans (Ref Pro and League) are ad-free. See AdMob & data.
• Subscription management. RevenueCat uses identifiers to manage and verify in-app purchases and subscriptions. See RevenueCat privacy.

4. The Website Specifically

The readyref.app marketing site is intentionally lightweight. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and may use cookies or local storage for basic functionality and analytics. We do not use the website to sell your personal information.

5. How to Control Cookies

• Browser: most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
• Advertising (Android): open Settings → Google → Ads to reset or opt out of ad personalization.
• Advertising (iOS): manage tracking under Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, and personalized ads under Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising.
• Analytics: you can limit analytics and advertising identifiers through your device privacy settings as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will update the "Effective Date" above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice in the app or on our website.
